Cindy Margolis
is nothing less than an American success story. The most popular celebrity
on the Internet, Cindy is a desired actress, accomplished host, and a
perennial favorite of talk and entertainment shows. Cindy is a self-made
icon of the of the twenty-first century. Pioneers and trend-setters come
in many forms, but no form has been more pleasing to the eye than Internet
Star Cindy Margolis. She first took the Internet world by storm with her
innovative website that offered everything from pin-ups and sisterly advice
to e-commerce and live streaming video. She subsequently wound up at the
hosting forefront--microphone in hand--of some of the hottest live Internet
events. Then she reinvented the term following as through her worldwide
cyber fanbase she brought record numbers of viewers to her television appearances
and, later, the E! Entertainment series In Your Dreams
with Cindy Margolis which she hosted and produced along with her
late night party series The Cindy Margolis Show for CBS
Enterprises.
Online her feats are amazing! While best known for her eponymous website, The Most Downloaded Woman has been labeled a phenomenon by everyone from Yahoo!, America Online, Guinness Book of World Records to Forbes, Time, and People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People." Cindy is, in fact, a phenomenon in virtually every medium. She has achieved top sales on her own brand of merchandise, top ratings for her television appearances, and consistent top fan response on her website. With women comprising more than 40 percent of her fan base, Cindy also serves as spokesperson with Whoopi Goldberg for iMammogram.com, an on-line health service which helps detect the early signs of breast cancer. Cindy Margolis is the perfect celebrity spokesperson as she has the attention of such a wide variety of audiences and markets all over the world. This extraordinary woman is loved and respected for her beauty, charm, Internet feats, and knock-out personality. While maintaining the empire that is Cindy Margolis, she aggressively pursues her acting career. She initially landed guest starring roles on a variety of television series, winning them without the producers' knowledge of her online prominence. In many cases, Cindy used her own secret ammunition: she e-mailed the database of her fans asking if they'd watch. In virtually all cases, the series on which she appeared enjoyed tremendous ratings success--often breaking their own viewership records--for the episodes. Cindy Margolis' recent television appearances have included acting roles on several shows including Boston Public, Ally McBeal, MadTV, and The Hughleys. This busy actress also just completed work on three upcoming films; Directors Cut, Sol Goode, and The Bros. Among Cindy's recent hosting gigs are MTV's Spring Break, VH-1's Rock Across America, and A&E Documentary. Cindy's guest appearances this year include The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America, The Daily Show, WWF Smackdown, and Hollywood Squares just to name a few. Cindy Margolis' hosting experience reaches beyond broadcasting. She hosted iBASH, the biggest concert ever to be broadcast live over the Internet and at Times Square along with hosting the first-ever "Webcast of the Century" where over 100 countries participated. Cindy continues to grow as an actress and host and looks forward to a long and successful career. |
